As they were restored at the National Unification Museum, Alba Iulia, the manuscript fragments were digitized, described and published on the Fragmentarium website (click on the image below).
During the project, 32 classification files related to the manuscripts restored through the project were drafted. These requests for the classification of these manuscripts in the National Heritage Collection were submitted, for evaluation and approval, to the Heritage Department of the Ministry of Culture.
Till the end of the project, five members of the project team have been trained in order to develop new professional skills and expertise in areas related to librarianship such as restoring and digitizing old books and manuscripts, describing and classifying fragments of medieval manuscripts.
Two exhibitions of the restored manuscripts were opened, the in situ version of the exhibition was inaugurated in February 2022, and the travelling one, which includes interactive multimedia installations and a photo-video visual essay, was opened during August 2022.
